Post Doctoral Fellow
The Head and Neck Cancer Foundation jointly with the POW foundation is looking to fund a clinical postdoctoral fellow for 2 years.
The fellow will be based in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Prince of Wales hospital utilising the research facilities of the University of New South Wales.
Our group is already doing promising work in uniquely engineered, multilayered, and absorbable meshes impregnated with nanoparticles of pharmacology.
The leading cancer that we will be investigating over this 2 year period will be nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) which is the most common cancer in South East Asia. We have a paradigm for investigating and introducing novel therapies in the treatment of this insidious and deadly disease.
